Privacy Policy
Edward Armah takes the security of your personal data extremely seriously. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Personal details
We will keep your personal details safe and private. We only collect personal information required for the processing of the order. Edward Armah will not pass your personal details to anyone. Should our policy ever change, we will inform you and ask your permission before sharing any information. Any personal information will be used only for the purpose it is intended, and will be held for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
Data security
Any data you give us is encrypted using a 'Secure Socket Layer' session. SSL is an industry standard and is one of the best ways to ensure Internet messages are not intercepted.
You should be aware however; older browsers can not use SSL. To be sure, you will need Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers, version 4 or above.
Over and above what Edward Armah do to safeguard your privacy and security, there are a number of things you can do. When you have finished your session with us, make sure that anyone you do not wish to see your details cannot come along and do so. Clear any cache so there is no record of any transactions left on screen - both Internet Explorer and Netscape let you do this. We recommend you then close your browser so any history of the session is cleared.
Unsolicited e-mail
We do not send random and un-targeted unsolicited e-mail. Any unsolicited e-mail that we do send will be clearly identifiable as such.
Handling Complaints
In the unlikely event of a complaint we promise to deal with you in a fair, confidential and effective manner. Your complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days and you will be kept informed of our progress. We take Customer Service very seriously at Edward Armah and will always make every effort to resolve any dispute to its positive conclusion.
